how to encode video for HDDVD/BLURAY/XBOX360/PS3

Hi everyone!

A couple months ago i posted on a thread here about on how to backup dvds to h264 so that the y could be played on HDDVD/BLURAY/XBOX360/PS3 players.

Sharktooth said that a patched version of x264 was needed and the profiles needed to be modified, unfortunally i dont have those skills.

Does anyone know how to do this, were the patches commited to the official x264?

Basically i would like to backup my dvds to 1g(more or less like dicx/xvid now) each and get playability on the above 4 players.

I do know that profiles were made, but I am not sure if the HD patch is included in Cef's builds. You could always check the patch repository, and see if it is in there.
