When playing a 720p x264 .mkv file with Media Player Classic it's not possible to Scale it to 16:9 TV.
But MPC scales MPEG and XviD files so I can watch them on my 16:9 TV using a S-Video cable. Help me! Tks.

Wow, now I really want to help you.
If you can scale to 16:9 with mpeg or xvid, are you using the same clip? If not, what is the source aspect ratio of your 720p x264 mkv file?

1280x720 (AR 20:11) (with subtitles loaded)
1280x544 (without subs)

Pan and Scan will scale a 720p / 1080p (2,35:1) to 16:9 (~ 1,85:1)
Set it to Scale to 16:9 TV
Works perfect on my Setup with a 32" HD Dispaly connected via Ati HDTV Out (YUV)
Maybe you can test Zoompalyer
