Hello! Please excuse me - i am a total noob and my english isn't good at all.I tried many transcoding tools and the one listed in doom9.net too, but i can't understand, how can i get a audio stream (DTS) from a Matroska file?

All i want is to get a DTS stream from one Matroska file and atach it to another.That's all.Looks simple, but i can't find a proper tool.I don't know, how to do it with VirtualDubMod too.HELP ME!

Hi!

I must confess, I can't understand what would necessitate using the DTS audiostream of one video on a different one.

Would you please be good enough to clarify?

If you created both Matroska files from your same original, purchased, commercial DVD, I'd suggest you just re-rip your orignal DVD and make a new file containing all the "proper parts" you now desire...

The only case in which I've ever seen DTS streams in an MKV file is in the form of pirated DVD rips. I'm guessing he wants to streamcopy the audio from one of these.

@Dark Shikari

Hi!

What you've stated doesn't in any way preclude the possibility that anyone, including you, "mutha88", and me, could conceivably create such a file from a purchased DVD.

Why not just let "mutha88" respond further?

Am I stopping him?Very likely, yes - since you've stated that you guess he wants to streamcopy the audio from a pirated DVD rip.

Hello there!

Sorry for the double posting, guys.Now here is what it is actually.I have a 576p rip and a 720p rip.The 720p has a DTS stream and the 576p has a DD5.1 stream.I wish to take the stream from 720p and put it in the 576p release.Both of them have the same duration, because the source is identical.

Can i do that?

As I said before, if you created both Matroska files from your same original, purchased, commercial DVD, I'd suggest you just re-rip your orignal DVD and make a new file containing all the "proper parts" you now desire...
