I have a full DVD video_ts folder that I want to back up. I thought I would use DVD rebuilder to create an iso so I could burn it, however the source folder is slighter over size (4,702,486,952), when I put it into dvdrb i have standard size dvd 5 checked and when it was going through analysis it said 96% compression for dvd5 size. however the output iso is the exact same size! And so when I try to burn with img burn I get a file size too big warning.

How do I get dvdrb to actually output a proper dvd5 size iso? Also, there's a spanish 6ch audio track I don't really need, but I couldn't figure out how to deselect it. Any help is appreciated!

Assuming you are using the Pro version, double click on the language you don't want and you should see a big red X next to the language showing it isn't selected. With the size you indicate, it is very like no reencoding will be required (after removing the language).

Please post your log. Is it possible that DVD-RB is saying "this doesn't need encoding, continue?" and you are saying "No"? That would happen if you'd deselected a language on a disc that size.

Use a DVD-R instead of DVD+R and you should be fine. ;)

Thanks for the tips. Once I deselected the audio track I didn't need it didn't need to be reduced, came out at 4.04gb. It didn't ask about not needing encoding because I had selected full dvd backup I think. Either way problem solved.
