Something I've wondered on occasion.
Is it possible to switch the vdub or vdubmod video display to use tv-levels instead of pc-levels? There have been times when I would've needed the display to accurately reflect what the histogram is showing me. It's easy to work around it in your script, but it's kinda unneccessary if there'd be a more permanent solution.

ConvertToRGB(matrix="pc.601") in the script, but in vdub, I don't believe it's possible. Hm, maybe if you turn on Direct3d display and use an effect file, but you'd probably have to ask on the virtualdub forums for more information on doing that.

Alternately, you can recompile it, but that's a pain.

Ah of course, I've been foolishly using coloryuv. Not that I'd be able to tell the difference though. Thanks for the suggestions, the direct3d approach sounds, well, sound, and needs to be looked into. Gonna take a peek at the virtualdubmod source first for fun and cheap thrills, and hopefully emerge alive from the experience.
