I'd like to rip my DVD and BD collection so that I can watch it through media center on an XBOX 360. I realize that it may not be practical or possible to retain things such as menu's and special features and that's fine, all I really want is to get a lossless copy of the video and audio of the film or show so I can put these DVD's and BD's in storage (I don't really have much space in my living room).
Since the 360's Media Center can view MPEG-2 and VC-1 I'd like to get a direct copy from a DVD or BD w/ MPEG-2 or VC-1 along with it's audio so that I don't lose any quality.
For BD movies encoded in H.264 I'd like to find a way to convert it to VC-1 or MPEG-2 without lossing any quality.
I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance!
