i must regretfully state that autogk is sh*t regarding its uninstallation. i was using mpeg mediator prior to it and since i (un)installed autogk (it didn't have the "process number of frames" option so it took like 5 minutes of use) it's useless and crashes every time...
And you know what happens when codecs get screwed don't you? Either you're good and find the problem quickly, or like most I'll have to FRIKKIN REINSTALL WINDOWS
thank you!

As this your first post and you joined the forum in june 2005:confused:
Stop shouting and offending words.
There is something burked in your setup and if you come here for help, you have to provide some more information.
I have used AutoGk and Mpeg Mediator for years and never had one of the issues you mentioned.
The only thing that comes to my mind is: your xvid installation is broken,
Uninstall all the instances of xvid you have on your pc.
Search for leftover files via search.
Scrubb your registry searching for xvid leftovers.
Hey, did you use codec packs?
Just tested Mpeg Mediator 1.5 and AutoGk 2.47: Everything normal.

Cheers
