2 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PCBM29OV)

unprocessed d2v samples.
1 uses Field order transition, 2 doesn't.
The scene repeats itself, while in the vob it doesn't.
After it repeats itself, the audio is out of sync.

I ran this through Field order transition using dgindex version 1.4.8
and this avisynth code:
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\DGDecode.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\MT.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\decomb.dll")

MPEG2Source("C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\T2 d2v\T2.d2v")

SetMemoryMax(1024)

AssumeTFF()
Telecide(chroma=false)
decimate()

I encoded the whole movie, right after this scene that I uploaded started to jump around, the sound went out of sync and I couldn't get it right again.
I then tried the vobs them self at the scene I uploaded didn't jump around and the sound stayed in sync.

This is the extreme version of the Movie Terminator Two.

Here's the entire fix it made from the entire movie:

If you are getting all those transitions, your rip is bad. Maybe you ripped multiple angles.

How did you rip it?

I'm using dvdfabdecrypter 3050 from the doom9 dvd backup page.
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/software2.htm

I just ripped the main movie, no angles as far as I know.
I'll try again, with a fresh download and the newest dgindex.

I downloaded your first link and found a demuxed M2V. I saved project in the latest DGIndex 1.5.0 beta 7. There were no transitions.

Please try agin with that version. Also consider using Force Film as there is soft pulldown.

Your stream is screwed up. Try playing it in VLC or MPC.

Your ripper messed it up.

Try DVD Decrypter.

I downloaded a new version, then re-ripped it using dvdfabdecrypter3050, and I got the same Field order transition problem.

I then re-ripped it using dvd decrypter, from the doom9 dvd backup page and I got no Field order transition errors.

I used the newer version of dgindex.

I see you noticed the jumpy movie stream. In the vob's ripped from dvdfabdecrypter I got the Field order transition errors with dgindex, but the vob's played smooth with no lip sync or jumping errors.

So everything is OK when ripped with DVD Decrypter, or you still have a problem?

Your version of DVDFab Decrypter is OLD and BUGGY. Get a newer one or use DVD Decrypter.

neuron2,

The vob's play fine when ripped by the dvdfabdecrypter3050, but in dgindex the stream is gibbled up.
The dgindex reads the vob's differently than MPC does.
I dunno why.

When I ripped it with dvddecrypter there was no problems.
The dgindex had nothing to fix, and the stream was fine. Like it was in MPC.

Sharktooth,

Is the newest version still free ?
Maybe neuron2 can update the version in the doom9 dvd backup page if it's free. :)

Maybe neuron2 can update the version in the doom9 dvd backup page if it's free. Nope, those pages are controlled only by Doom9.

Hi!

If the "Extreme" edition is at all similar to the "Ultimate" edition, it very likely does contain multi-angles - for the option of viewing either the "Theatrical version" or the "Special" edition"...

(According to SmartRipper, PGC1 of "The Ultimate" edition contains 3 significant PGCs, each greater than 2 hours and 15 minutes long.)

Jeremy Duncan

It does have two versions, one a 2:16 minute version, the other about 15 minutes longer.
