Play wmv in Quicktime for Windows?

I have a need to play wmv videos in Quicktime on Windows, anyone with a solution at hand? I haven't found any yet..

The biggest reason (so you won't have to ask) is to convert the wmv videos for streaming in Apple Darwin.
