Mix and Merge Audio Files

Hi,

Is there a simple command line utility such as SOX that could Mix and Merge Audio files ;sepcifically AAC Audio extracted from an MP4 Video.

i.e. i want to extract the audio from an MP4 video file and add audio to its beginning , ending and on top of it.
