Having trouble with some movies

I am very new to this whole thing so please forgive me if I seem ignorant. I have successfully copied about 5 movies but I am not able to copy certain movies, specifically "Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer", "1402" and "The Messengers".
I am doing everything the same as the other 5 movies. Is it that some movies just can't be copied?
I have read the forums but can't find anything that addresses my situation. I have been using dvd shrink but when that didn't work I tried Img burn still with no luck.
Any help or guidance anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

There is no protection (other than standard CSS and Macrovision) on "Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer".

Try cleaning the DVD and/or your DVD reader/burner...

What's your first step? Because if you're not using Ripit4Me or DVD Fab Decrypter, then that's your problem. The 2 programs mentioned don't overcome ANY recent copy protection.

While your statement regarding "ANY recent copy protection" is correct, "joebens" still should be able to rip (R1) "Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer" with DVD Shrink...

Thanks for everyones help. As it turns out, my dvd burner drive crapped out. I replaced the drive and everything is now working just fine.
