I encode a lot. Is it possible to schedule nero recode to convert multiple DVDs to nero digital? or is it just one at a time?

Ex: I have 5 DVD's I want to encode on my hard drive. I want to schedule nero to do the job while I am sleeping or at work, so they are done when I get back to the computer.

I did a search on this site and could not find anything. I downloaded the manual to nero 7 and nothing is listed.

Thanks for your time.

Don't know, for sure, but run a search and include "batch" as a keyword. You mght get some joy there. Other than that, get in the Recode help files.

Thanks. That was just what I was looking for.

--only 1 problem--

The first file in the post did not work, but autoit with the script did. I am encoding video only, no audio, and when using autoit, I ended up with very small files that were 1.2kb in size (of course, they would not play). Not using autoit, and doing them one at a time, the file size is 1.6Gb (which is correct). I have had this happen before when I use the computer durning a recode (doing one at a time), so I figure it is a bug with recode.

Any ideas?

This problem goes back a ways:

I am running a dual monitor and using an Nvidia card. I will try to use primary monitor only, and see if that works.

GREAT NEWS. That was the problem.

John V might need this info: I have a Nvidia 7950 GX2 video card. I had it set up as seperate GPU's per monitor running in a dual monitor config, using the latest version of NERO 7 to date. I would get those small files on occasion mainly if I was using the computer during a recode. I guess that is why I got the small files ALL the time using autoit, because a process was running in the background.

I configured the video card to run only a Primary Monitor and use both GPU's for that Monitor. I recoded 5 movies last night running autoit script and all turned out fine.

Thank you Doom9! Much joy here! :D
