Theres a software encoder for Dolby TrueHD , DD Plus etc !

Thats the one and only Solution you can get

The cheapest standalone Encoder is Dolby Media Encoder SE for 2900$. It can encode TrueHD, DD+ DD, MLP

There are Demos for download ,but only for Mac OS X (sadly)

I don't think any of the local dealers is actually selling those products to hobbyists, that's why I wrote the above.

You can by the DTS HD Master Suite to in some Stores..its a commercial Software so you can by it ofcourse , why not ,its nothing forbidden :)

Because the dealer typically also sells a support package, and they don't provide support to non-production houses.

If you mean E-AC-3 FFmpeg has a native encoder for it since version 0.8.
