Generally speaking, no, but there may be some oddball player out there that might. <shrug> But for the current mainstream players, no.

And speaking of the chip-set, do you know if it also supports the H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) codec? My searches of the DVD players using the EM8620L got me nowhere.

And speaking of the chip-set, do you know if it also supports the H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) codec? Sigma's EM8620/21 chip-set does not.
However, Sigma's EM8622/23/24/25/28/29 and SMP8634/35 chip-sets do offer such support, along with VC-1

what about .mov files? :thanks:The current situation is, if the .MOV sources contain MPEG-4 AVC video with AAC audio, the streams will have to be re-muxed to .MP4 before they will play.
