Im encoding the MASH sessions and was wondering what filters should I consider for removing the little burn dots that come up every so often (You know, like on previews before a movie, the little dots that flash on screen every so often)
Thanks for the help

Look up DeSpot, which can remove quite a few. It also tends to remove enough real details that I just gave up and photoshopped a few glaring ones instead. That's the nature of the beast.

hang on, do you mean the end-of-reel "cigarette burns" a-la fight club, or just film dust that's on every frame and is down to poor handling of prints?

I haven't seen fight club, but its not like Huge burns, Film dust will probably be the correct answer (though it does get kind of large some times) Ill give Despot a go and see how it turns out. (Of course I'm always open for other suggestions.)
