Here's a thought. I live in europe, so many DVDs I come across are in PAL, and hence 25 fps. Since I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I've started to change the framerate of encoded PAL DVDs to the original 23.976. Now, with the new frame rate feature in BeSweet it's easy to change lenght and pitch of the audio stream to fit the video after changing the framerate, but there's a lot of stuff that has to be done manually. Now, my suggestion is that if GK could be made to use BeSweet instead of Azid/Lame and add a framerate change control somewhere (In VirtualDub and NanDub changing the framerate without altering the video content is very very easy and could be done automatically by GK in the encoding process). Does anyone else feel this would be a good idea?
