I have an .mkv file with SBR 6ch AAC audio. I would like to be able to decode it with ffdshow because I can enable ac3 output so the amp will play it correctly. FFDShow (using the latest -tryouts beta) identifies the audio stream as SBR AAC. However, I can't hear anything while the file is playing. Other files with mp3 play fine. I tried both decoders but neither worked.
When I installed CoreAAC and disabled FFDShow's aac processing, it worked OK, although I dislike downmixing 6ch to 2ch and then trying to upmix it with ProLogic II on the amp.
Any ideas?
