I notice that a lot of tools around here have some meathod for automatically detecting types of content and making encoding decisions based off of this.
I was wondering if someone could explain to me the tools and analysis meathods used to accomplish this? From what i've gathered from searching the forums and doing a little reverse engineering is that it has something to do with manually parsing .d2v files.
