FOX releasing HD-DVDs?

As far as I know FOX is a Blu-Ray exclusive (DRM paranoid). However, I just saw these pictures at highdefdigest.com are they fake?

Anyone with a good input please clarify this a little bit. If they looked fake I wouldn't be posting this. The first one even has a shrink-wrap.

I'd assume it's shooped, especially since it isn't at amazon and there's been no breaking news over it. Probably fark. :p

Oh, hm, apparently there's a German HD-DVD release. That's pretty interesting. No region codes, so it's importable too.

Well.. I hold in my hands the first Fantastic 4 movie on HD DVD, as well as Mr. and Mrs Smith (and some Sony and Disney titles as well). The thing is, studios don't always distribute their movies internationally.. and when movies are distributed by local distributors, it suddenly doesn't matter anymore if the studio is exclusive to one format. As far as I can tell, Constantin video has the distribution rights for the second F4 movie as well, so I'd expect it to be available on HD DVD by the time the DVD release is out in Europe (more specifically in Germany).

Interesting... perhaps BD+ will first be "cracked" by using HD-DVD international versions :p
