I encoded the audio using Graphedit.
The audio and the video were synch perfectly, except for one problem: the commentary tracks were included in the movie, too (and those tracked spreads throughout the movie!).
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

pretty simple, you extracted the wrong audio-stream from your vobs...
eg 0x80 is english
0x81 is german
0x82 is english with comments

Where do I find those settings (0x80, 0x81...)? (I'm new to DVD ripping)

during the ripping process smartripper or vstrip will give you a stream listing, first stream = 0x80, 2nd stream = 0x81, etc

Now the problem is I don't have the DVD with me anymore. Is there anyway to do anything with those ripped .vob to get the correct stream?

Yes, use DVD2AVI, open the VOBs, either select an audio stream or use 'demux all audio'. DVD2AVI will now extract all the available AC3 streams from your VOB's ( can be up to 8, normally 2 - 5 ) and name them all according to tag number, delay, etc. .
Now you can play them all in very normal Mediaplayer ( given you have filters for AC3 installed, coming with every DVD player software like WinDVD, etc. ) and find out the correct track for you ....
Then feed this AC3 into latest BeSweet and BeSweet GUI and make a high quality Lame VBR or ABR MP3 from it. This can be muxed to your video using Nandub RC2.

I figured it out last night. i was using Mpeg-2 Splitter before. I changed to Ligos, and got the right stream. (Because with Mpeg-2 splitter, I got only one choice for audio stream; and too bad that only stream is the one with commetary tracks)
Thanks for all ur help.
