6 channel ac3 shows up as 3 channel in dvdlab pro

I have no idea where this goes so I'm gonna try here. I have some audio that I have converted into ac3. Now i know it is 6 channel audio, but when I load the ac3 file into dvdlab pro 2.0 it only shows it as a 2 channel audio. Anyone have a clue what I am doing wrong? Also is there a tool I can use to visually check if the ac3 file is 6 channels or not?

Hi, there are more than a handful of tools which can give such info, you can use DelayCut (http://download.videohelp.com/jsoto/audiotools.htm), GSpot ( http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) or MediaInfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net) among others. Also the KMPlayer ( http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25) has a good media info feature.
