I've finally decided to take the plunge and learn Gordian Knot (having been a long time fan of Nero Recode). I think I've gotten the hang of it, except for one thing that I keep getting hung up on.
I'm not too fussy on quality and usually do my encoding in 1-pass, so I can save some time. When I click Save & Encode in GK, the default is always "multi-pass" and I occasionally forget to set it back to "single pass" when doing large batches. It seems this particular setting is not saved in the "saved" settings drop down box in the lower right-hand corner of GK.
Is there a way to have it default to single pass every time?
Thanks.
PS: I didn't forget to set the default XVID options to Single Pass in the codec as well, if you're wondering. :)
