Hey there,
I'm trying to convert am avi movie to a mpv movie inorder to burn it as a dvd with DVD Lab later on.
I'd written this script:
AviSource("#Movie Path#")
BicubicResize(HorRes, VerRes)
AddBorders(x,y,z,w)

And opened it with CCE SP.
According to CCE SP the movie is 10 seconds long, but if I open the original movie in CCE SP it says that the its 1h50m long.
What can be the problem?.. I have worked in this way before but I format my computer lately and maybe i forgot to install something? :|

thx, Michael.

Can you open the file in MPC? If so, does it display the correct time?

And why use CCE SP? HCenc is comparable to better quality, for free, and it is guaranteed to work correctly with Avisynth.

Hi,

Could be your footage is in YV12 format as CCE needs YUY2. See this post (in spanish):

Add converttoyuy2() as last command in the script.

Good luck

According to CCE SP the movie is 10 seconds long,
Most likely something's wrong with the script. Open it in VDub(Mod) and get a real error message. Or follow Merlin7777's suggestion to try and open it in Media Player Classic.

You might want to add that the error message clips produced by AviSynth are 10 seconds in length... :)
