Good splitting tool for DivX4 *.avi

I have tried Fx Splitter, AviChop 0.2b, Splitter 3.1, and AVIedit 2.9 with no good results. All of them have made files that are not supported by media player or just crashed media player. I know there is a good splitter out there but what is it called? What do you guys use to split your divx 4 avi's that are >700mb? I compress all my divx with Gordian Knot btw.

I have the same Problems with multi-language AVI´s. If I split them with AVIChop 0.2b only one Audiostream survives :) AVIChop is even able to split ac3-Movies, but it is not able to split multi.language AVI´s. Nandub or VirtualDub with ac3 extention have certain problems to split Divx3 Movies! Audio starts, but the first second, vidoe freezes. So VirtualDub and Nandub don´t split correctly!

(Or am I to stupid?)

Never cut Big Movies with AVIChop! The best workaround ist to cut the file with Nandub in 800MB pieces, then cut the 1st piece with AVIChop. Join the Rest (100mb+ the rest of the file) with Nandub and so on.!

But (Wisemen) does anyone know a good multilanguage file splitter?(NOT NANdub)

but only for 2 streams.

for playback you need morgan stream switcher if you want to use wmp.

Following Problem:
I want to create a multi-language AVI with Nandub. @ first, I extract the Videostream and the two needed Audiostreams from the DVD.(I use Smartripper, because it can rip only the desired streams). Then, I use XMpeg or Flaskmpeg. Afterwards, I start Nandub 1.0rc2 load the avi-File(Video only), set the primary Audiostream as ac3 and the secondary, i use am MP3-File I created before. I select Save segmented file. my preferred Segment-file-size is 700Mb. Nandu starts and the fps count decreases fast down to zero!!! Nothing happends! Of course, I always select Direct stream copy, but it douse NOT work!!!

There has been a thread over at DivX.com i guess ( in my active time that was :D ) and a guy introduced a new program to do automatic cutting to desired filesize on keyframes .... i d'led the 1st Beta and .... simply forgot about it until i saw your post again .... i will ask everwicked ( he is mod there ) if he knows anything about it ....

My sincere apologies Dr. Mr. coder ;) .... you're maybe right, i'm getting old. Congrats to this program, if its working this is something the community was waiting for quite some time .... very well done !!
