Looking at getting a Pioneer BDC-S02 Blu-Ray Reader sometime nearer Xmas, the retail version of this drive contains a version of PowerDVD that can play Blu-Ray discs as well as DVD's, but no mention of HD-DVD support on the press releases or anything.
Does this version of the player have HD-DVD support disabled or is it just not mentioned on the press releases? Because I could just get the OEM version minus software, and get the full PowerDVD Ultra at a later date.
