problem when removing a pgc from video_ts.vob

I used vobblanker to blank out the offending cell (some ad for a game). when i played the resulting DVD using ifoedit, pressing title menu stops playback. pressing title menu again brings me to the 1st menu screen.

I tried dvdremakepro this time and deleted the pgc. the dvd just stops immediately when played through ifoedit. pressing title/root menu does nothing.

any suggestion to remove this pgc properly?

Blanking should do the trick without a hassle. Try playing on Media Player Classic or VLC.

Try to blank it without the option to copy the post-commands to pre. Maybe this option cause a navigation problem.

still doesn't work in ifoedit. a trace in pgcedit is also stopping suddenly. any other ideas?
