I would like to ask for help how to get most out of the following sample (29 MB, 30 seconds). I really don't know what should I do make it look at least "good".

There is nothing you can do about this. These strong temporal artefacts (caused by a bad denoiser or something similar) are irreparable.

Thank you for your having a look. This is the original unprocessed capture captured via Hauppauge PVR-350 (VBR 8-10 Mbps, MPEG-2, full PAL). Can someone please suggest something for this hopeless material? (-delete the file is not exactly the right option- :D)

Strictly from a denoising standpoint, I get decent results with tfm (it's just field-shifted progressive) and then using fft3dfilter, frfun7, or frfun7+mvdegrain (with the degrain working off the original, not the pre-denoised). Nothing can bring back the giant holes and echoes left by the obnoxious temporal smearing though.

@Foxyshadis: are you speaking generally or have you tried something with the 30-second sample I posted? If you did, could you please share some values you used with fft3dfilter (sigma & planes) and frfun7 and with the frfun7+mvdegrain combo? Some examples are better than nothing. Thank you.

I just used the defaults to see if they would work. How to set parameters on something like this depends a lot on taste.
