Which is the correct forum for basic questions about the DVD+VR and DVD-VR disk formats, as created by most standalone DVD recorders?

And how do I search the forum for past discussions about this? The plus sign in the search term "DVD+VR" is interpreted as a logical operator, not an ASCII character.
