I need help to create chapter points

I have a home made DVD without any chapters.
I've tried to create the chapters points using 3 differents methods, but I wasn't successfull with any of them.

1. I've tried to do it using VobBlanker to split cells and after that I used PGCEDit to create the chapter points. Although the cells were splited, I couldn't create the chapter points where I wanted to.

2. I used DVD Remake Pro to split the cells but when I tried to play the DVD I could see anything.

3. I've demux the vob with PCGdemux, change the celltimes.txt file and authored with IFO Editor. The chapter were where I want them to be, but the audio was out of sync.

What else can I try to create the chapter points?

You can readily accomplish this with "TMPGEnc DVD Author v.1.6. You can obtain a FULLY functional free 30 day trial version of this commercial program at:

In VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm), there is a box to tick create new program and chapter points. Ensure they are ticked. There will be no need for PgcEdit afterwards.

And if you forgot to tick the "create new program and chapter" box, you can add them with PgcEdit:
Open the PGC editor, and click on the empty buttons in the column titled "Prog." This will create a new program at the beginning of the cell.
When you have created the programs you need, open the PTT editor ("Edit Chapter (PTT) Table" button) and add a new chapter for each program you have created.
