Most of the DVDs I made from footage shot with my old GRU series JVC look OK until you try to zoom in. One zoom in and they are a blocky mess. As I can usually get at least one zoom in with a commercial DVD, I'm thinking it's the camera that took the original footage. I keep the bitrates aroubd 8000. Any insights into this. (My old DV camcorder died and I need to replace it)
