I *think* the latest (patch 2) version of Ulead DVD Movie Factory 6 plus can author and burn a valid 3xDVD, but I suspect it only supports MPEG-2 at this point. Nevertheless, you might want to go hunt down some official info on that specific release of that specific program, because it's not inconceivable that it might (I also vaguely remember seeing something somewhere about Mainconcept being licensed by Ulead/Corel for DMF6, so it might be worth further research).
I know for a fact that DVDlab does NOT support authoring 3Xdvd or HD-/BluRay, and isn't likely to support it anytime soon. The official reason is "lack of demand" and "it's too new". I suspect the REAL barrier, though is getting past AACS licensing (remember, DVDlab's main target market is professional content creators). It wouldn't surprise me if the relevant licensing organization(s) set the barrier to entry so high, even a company like Adobe would have to find a "responsible" company (like Microsoft, Apple, etc) to sponsor them, and a small company would have almost zero chance of getting past the bouncer at the door.

I would suspect the same - no true support for H264 or in other words they probably would transcode to MPEG-2 and who would want that?
I've been trying latest DVD Studio Pro on Mac and it doesn't support H264 either. Well it does but only Apple (Compressor) encoded...and that take literally forever (at least 3-4 times longer then x264)... After weeks of fighting with DVDSP I figured that it doesn't like B-frames at all but would import H264 with CABAC, so overall a hair better then base profile, but hardly ever worth it. I doubt standalone would play DVDSP created 3xDVD with H264.
So is there anything that could burn H264 apart from Scenarist that is not an option for obvious reasons?
