VC1Conv Playback issue

My source filters have problems recognizing files altered by vc1conv. I use Haali and KMP source filter. I can open the file in graphedit using the windows File source, however, none of the splitters I tried worked. Am I doing something wrong. Is there a way to make these files more compliant? Thanks

You can apply VC1Conv only to elementary streams. So you have to demux first, than run VC1Conv.

Aww, but won't that leave the audio out of sync when remuxed? Or does the audio have to be changed as well?

No, it should be in sync. Check the play time of the audio stream and the VC-1 ES stream. After running through VC1Conv they match.
