posting attachments

Could someone clue me in on how to post an attachment? I click on Post Reply at the very bottom of my post,then i get a reply to thread and at the bottom in additional options there is a button[manage attachments] i then click on manage attachments. In new box i then browse to where my text file is and insert it in "upload file from your Computer " then i click the upload button, the same box reappears and under the "upload file from url" is a box that says current attachments but to the right of that box is a button that says Remove, so what might i be doing wrong? Thank you.

You just close the window. As soon as the attachment shows up in the list, it'll also be in the main post window. (Agreed that vbulletin's new attachment window is unnecessarily confusing.)
