View Full Version : DTS Audio & DVDA to DVD?

I want to convert my 5.1 DVDAs and 5.1 DTS Audio CDs for use in my DVD surround sound system. (It doesn't support these formats).

I want to use the DTS audio, I hear it is "less lossy" than AC3(?). I'm able to use DVD Shrink to create a DVD from a DVDA by unchecking the AC3 audio and creating the image. Seems to work.

How can I take 5.1 DTS audio and make a DVD out of it? I read the DTS FAQ, it seems most procedures have to do with demuxing/ripping DTS off a DVD, or upmixing stereo to 5.1. I want to take DTS files off a CD and create a DVD from them. Looked at Besweet and some other tools but I guess I'm missing something obvious.

(I posted a shorter version of this question in the audio encoding section, no answer.)
