My first poll here.
Multiple choice is allowed.
Although I have both of them I use the AMD based system mainly.

Somewhere I have a PC with an AMD K7 233Hz (I think). Otherwise, it's been Intel all the way.
Currently, Pentium D 2.8GHz and a laptop with Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz.

Currently 3 Pentium4's, plus a Celeron D.
I guess that makes me an Intel fanboy ;) Funny, since I'm into gaming, and AMD should've been the more expectable choice for me ;)

Finally the poll shows that the users prefer AMD & Intel (the percentages are similar). Usually overclockers prefer AMD as I survey..

Mine: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Dad's: Intel Core 2 E6600
Mom's: Intel Pentium 4 1.6GHz
HTPC: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2180
Clunker: Intel Celeron 1.3GHz
So, mostly Intel, but I still don't like Intel because they're evil. (You don't have to agree with me.) Two of those came from Dell several years ago, so we didn't really have a choice. Now I do all the PC building though.

My boxes:
Main: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Immediate Future: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3 GHz :D
HTPC / Print Server: AMD Sempron 3200+
Laptop: Intel Pentium III 700 MHz
Spare / Folding: Intel Pentium III 1 GHz
Looks like an even split :) I was a big AMD fan from about 2000 on, but am recently more interested in Intel.

Today: Athlon X2 4200+@2200 (Dual Core) - skt 939
Yesterday's machine: Athlon64 3400+@2400 MHz stock -skt 754
In the far away time: Duron 900@900 Mhz
And in the still further away time: Packard Bell with some Intel CPU inside, Atari 1040 or 520 ST+ (http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?c=20) with Motorola MC68000 (same CPU as the first Apple used and GEM Graphics Interface) and my very first VIC-20 (http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?c=252) with Commodore Semiconductor Group 6502A CPU.
You could say I was born with a compute in my lap or at least on desk. ;-)
