Filters after file is encoded

Is there a way of applying a filter after a movie has been encoded?
Do I have to reencode - is that the only way?

Hi,

Yup, pretty sure you guessed right - ur going to have to re-encode ur movie with filters.

I always encode a small section of the movie first with filters applied to test out my settings - u can test out the affects of increasing/decreasing the filter settings to find ur "perfect" settings.
