Did you try DumpHD or similar programs developed by doom9 members?

I tried dumphd and I get this error "Error: no `server' JVM at `C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_02\bin\server\jvm.dll'"

I did load java runtime 1.5.0

The readme says Java server VM. But I cannot find the download for something like that.

Help.

This is a "bug" in the JRE only package, the Server VM is somewhat missing, i don't know if they fixed that with Java SE 6. Download the full JDK and copy the directory <JDK-dir>\jre\bin\server into the bin directory of the JRE on your C: drive, then it should work.

Note to myself: mention that in the readme.txt

Well, that definitly help, but now I get:

J:\dumphd_0.32>l:
The volume does not contain a recognized file system.
Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted.

l: is the hd-dvd drive. But if I click on it from win explorer, I can't read anything.

Oh well, that problem...
Your system can't read UDF 2.5, get a UDF 2.5 driver. Either try a recent Packet Writing software (Nero InCD or something like that), or google for BluePrint.

Oh, and if you start DumpHD without parameters it launches its nice GUI ;).

HI again. Thanks for all the help. I loaded Incd and now it sees the Hddvd but I can't read any files. DumpHD doesn't see any files, but it sees the DVD. I attached a screen shot. Getting closer everytime. :)

Looks like it doesn't work with InCD, you get the Volume Label but still can't get the files. Try this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1011712#post1011712) driver, then it should work. Maybe you have to uninstall InCD prior using it.

I'm waiting for someone to make a proper open source x86 decrypter. Until them I'd recommend using Slysoft if you want "perfect" rips.

and what if slysoft does not recognize the hd dvd? :)
