I know that ripit4me was taken down and would like to know what people are using as a replacement?

RipIt4me continues to be fully usable for over 99% of DVDs (The ONLY exception, thusfar, has been a handful of German releases with duplicate .IFOs, etc.).
Others may recommend (freeware) "DVDFab HD Decrypter".
My personal favorite continues to be (commercial) DVD95CopyPro...

I use AnyDVD, myself, however it's not a free product. It's never let me down and when it needs to be updated Slysoft is almost always right on top of it very quickly.

Is there any problem with DVDFab Decrypter + DVD Shrink, both available for free ???
Well, DVDFab Decrypter doesn't work on the fly, as AnyDVD does, but who cares in times of 500+ GB HDD's? ^^

There is absolutely nothing wrong with DVDFab HD Decrypter and Shrink. They work very well.

Most dvd's I have bought lately, can be done with just dvdshrink. and if not I use RI4ME. no prob.s in quite awhile.
( I do have dvd43 on another computer that I use if these don't work)

DVD43 should not used as a last resort. Get rid of it and use something better: AnyDVD (http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html), RipIt4Me (http://www.gigasize.com/get.php/1101299/RipIt4Me.zip) or DVDFab (http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm).

Right now I still personally use RipIt4Me unless it won't rip the protection. If that happens, I then use DVDFab. I do own AnyDVD too but haven't had it installed for awhile. I may give it another go but as of right now I just don't have a need to install it since what I have works fine. I can always install it though if I need it or just decide to do something different.
