How come I can't play my mkv x264 HIGH BITRATE DTS movies on my Mac 2.0 CD?
Which program is able to play the recent high bitrate DTS files on the Mac?

high bitrate DTS? You mean DTS HD? I don't know if there are software decoders for any platform. In fact, according to wiki, there are no decoders available at all, even hardware players will only play the 1.5M core. You might try demuxing it, running dtscore over it, and then remuxing the standard dts output. (As for quicktime or gstreamer playback of standard dts, I have no idea.)

What is a Mac 2.0 CD?
Anyway try VLC or MPlayer (compiled from source would be better).

I think he means he has a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo, which would be a E4400.
