When I rip a dvd of mine, the individual vob size for the main feature are 1,048,574 kb. (tried with dvd decrypter and dvdshrink on windows xp) Is there a way to change the rip size to 1,048,404 kb? Is there a program for xp that outputs this size, or lets you select it?
Or, is there a program that would let me an uncut vob to those exact pieces?
Thanks.

Rip as one file. Then use a binary splitter utility (e.g., split.exe) to split it as desired.

Used a nice little freeware app called A.F.6 and it worked like a charm, thanks.

You have a great shell with the compression tool 7 zip.
You can split and merge files easy.
