hi again,
i have another one: for the menus i've made two audio tracks, one in ac3 stereo and the other in ac3 5.1. there's an audio selection menu at the beginning to configure which audio stream plays, but i cannot seem to switch to the second audio track (5.1) in the menus, only at the movie section.
:thanks:

In VTSM, VMGM only one audio stream is possible.
If you wanna menus with two audiotracks you have to place menus in Title domain.

Actually the multiplexed vob can contain more than one audio stream. But in menu domains audio attributes exist for only one track, and it has no language. Each PGC has a map for the track to stream, and therefore can use any one of the streams. This allows you to multiplex a multi-language menu and use the same vob from several language units.
I'm no expert on Scenarist, but I believe it can be done with manual mapping.
I am an expert on MuxMan, and it can be done automatically. It does require each audio stream to be referenced from a different language unit. Create several language units and add audio streams to the segment used by the menus with matching languages. eg create an English and Spanish language unit and add two streams to the segment, one set to English, the other set to Spanish, and MuxMan will map the audio correctly.
This can also be done with the subpictures.

This is possible in Scenarist too, but you can not switch between different LUs using an audio selection menu as redguy desired.
