The default setting to "Bypass annoying PGCs" is No (unchecked.)

1. What is a PGC?

2. Why does RipIt4Me default to not bypass them if they are annoying?

3a. On a slightly separate issue, but instead of starting a new thread, why is the default not to "Include VIDEO_TS?"

3b. What is VIDEO_TS? (Although I'm not sure what it is, I seem to recall seeing it alot in the backup process. Thus I wonder why RI4Me defaults to not include it.)

This is our way to kill playback of junk like FBI warnings. It is an "advanced setting" and is set to "off" by default.

A PGC is by-passed if:

there are no buttons in any cell of the PGC
no cell of the PGC has an infinite still time
no cell of the PGC has a cell command
all the cells of the PGC are less than 30 seconds long
the operation to skip forward is prohibited
either the call to the root menu or title menu is prohibited

If all these are true, the PGC is deemed "annoying" and its playback is killed.

Note that in some cases, menu transitions can be removed and some FBI warnings may not be removed if they don't fall within the criteria." (quote from the manual)

3) The VIDEO_TS folder contains the necessary data to play our movies, the AUDIO_TS seems to be for DVD-Audio playback, though it doesn't seem to be necessary for our movies. Also in some DVDs you will find the JACKET_P folder, it displays cover images.
