Hi,
Is it possible playback a ripped HD-DVD .evo file with out converting it to another format? Much like renaming a .vob to .mpg (as it was just a mpeg file undeneath).
I tried renaming an evo to wmv to see if a 360 would play it from a usb hard drive but no luck.
An ideal solution for HD-DVD backup would to just feed the main ifo file (or an xml file in the case of HD-DVD, i think) and get the full PQ with all menus, audio tracks and extra's. Not sure of any media players that support this...
