I want to use a dreambox 500s to build a cheap iptv solution. I read that it can stream out mpeg2-ts via its ethernet interface. I want to take this stream to something like vlc and the multicast it over a LAN. Does anyone have a good how-to on the steps needed to steam dm500s automatically to a PC; or how to point vlc to pull a stream from the dm500.
