I used bbmpeg to multiplex m2v and ac3, and cut my vob files into 690mb files. If I use these files in dvd quick builder I get no sound.

But If I burn only the vob from bbmpeg on the cd I can select it on my dvd player and it plays perfectly. But I have no forwarding or chapters. This I want.

I also want it to start the vob file automatically when I place it in the dvd player. Then I guess I need an ifo file or two and maybe a bup file? And maybe other files two?

Anyway how can I make these files manually? I also need to make chapters. I also need to be able to fast forward.

Can Ifoedit make the files manually to fit my vob files? In case is there a howto on how to do this? I don't know ifoedit...

In fact I don't know much about any other files in the dvd area except vob files.

Thanks for any advice....

I'm sorry, but currently, for your case, IfoEdit can't do that.
It needs the orignial Ifo-file, to preserve the chapter and audio/subpicture attribute information.

So what you need, is an authoring tool, that produces everything for you.

What authoring program works with files multiplexed in bbmpeg?

I need audio... DVD WISE AND DVD QUICKBUILDER dosen't.

Maybe ifoedit works when I have the original ifo file?

But how do I use ifoedit? I need an howto...

Thanks for any help you can provide :)

dvdit-pe will do that...multiplex.

haven't used the m2v type yet, but...

i drop the mpeg/avi file into dvdit
drop the ac3 file in

create a button
drop the mpeg/avi file onto that button
drop the ac3 file onto same button.

simple...nice, clean graphics for menus (no animation though).

If you've got the origianl IFO file, then you can try creating new IFO files using this guide:

derrow,

so you need to "get vts sectors" on the VIDEO_TS.IFO first

then do the VTS_01_0.IFO?

does it matter what the order is?

No, it does not matter, which one you do first.

The only thing that matters, is that don't change anything on the number of files, or the size of files. Otherwise you must use "get vts sectors" again. But no matter in what order.
