I have a DVD Rip of Avi Video i want to convert it to MKV with DolbyDigital 5.1 Surround ...
And suggest me which is good Encoder to convert to MKV..
I am a newbie here i don't know anything about converting..
If u can help me plz with Screenshot....

Please read and follow the forum rules, specifically rule 9: use a proper thread title.
What do you mean by a DVD rip of AVI video? Do you mean you have a DVD in the form of an AVI? Where did you get that? Why not encode from your original DVD?

FIrst i have editted this thread also & i have a Avi file 1.37Gb in two parts Cd1&Cd2 i want to convert that video to MKV with DolbyDigital 5.1 Surround sound & i want that 1.37Gb to 700mb also..plzzz help me neuron...........

Instead of re-encoding a file from one format to another, it would be easier and yield far better results if you encoded a new file from the original DVD.

I don't have original DVD Currently.........
But the AVI print itself awesome.........
