because blu-ray doesn't cover its tracks as well a hd-dvd?

either that or blu-ray doesn't pay as well hd-dvd for editorials ;)

I wasn't implying I wanted more news about blu-ray.

I guess I sort of expected less blatantly biased news. Whoever writes the front page seems like a rabid fanboy to me, and it seems out of place on this site.

Anyway, that is my suggestion: lose the news spin. It makes the site look juvenile.

I haven't seen near as much spin on doom9's pages as I have on other sources, and if you find that its biased post in the news section thats what its there for doom9 can't be on every corner of the net scouring for news

And whining? Do you characterize all criticism as whining, or just criticism you don't agree with?

Why else would I be posting here? Are you suggesting I PM him?

Anyway, I've made my suggestion and my participation in this topic ends here before the mod hammer comes crashing down upon me.

You know, if you could take off the blu glasses, you'd come to realize that 1) I'm looking out for your best interests (fair use), and that 2) everything written is correct.
Also, you'd realize that I'm the only one to not get any financial incentives either way - I don't get any discs, hardware, ads, anything, whereas you'll be hard pressed to find especially a pro blu-ray side that's not getting anything.
Oh and by the way.. without the blue glasses you'll also see that the biggest HD DVD supporter gets their fair share of bashing - Universals meddling in the online music market and their undue influence on France's copyright law have been extensively covered - whenever a company pulls off something that is only in their interest and leaves us in the dust, you'll be hearing about it. Show me a side on either side of the fence that does that.

I look forward to the news, and get quite upset when its not "new". I guess everybody needs a vaca sometime.
