Hi,
just wanted to know if according to you doing a 2 pass encoding on a constant Bit rate makes sense or not.

yes because strict CBR doesn't exist for video encoding. CBR is for more or less large buffer and on little time interval you have localy vbr. Make 2 pass vbr even for very small interval like for "CBR encoding" is never useless.
