Convert h264 + AAC inside matroska to xvid or avi?

Hello, i want to convert some h264/aac streams (inside a matroska file), to an xvid/divx/avi.

I have searched the forum for "matroska h264 xvid" and i found nothing.

Is there some good tutorial or better any program to do it?

But from the title of the post, it looks like it does the oposite?

You should be able to convert from AVC/MKV to ASP/AVI (In your case, xvid) as well.

Yup, it allows you to encode from avc/mkv to asp/avi (xvid). I can't say it's the easiest tool to work with; not at first anyways, but it does work. :)

thanks, i'm leaving it encoding right now. Would see tomorrow ;)

it worked fine. It took 2.5 hours on my dual 2 core machine. Using a trial version of convertxtodvd took half the time. Any way to speed up the conversion to xvid?
