Bits/(P*F) for 3 cd rip

What values are good for a 3 cd rip? I always read suggestions for 1 or 2 cd rips.

forget all suggestions. take 10 minutes and do a compressibility check to find out what filesize is reachable. (then decide if it's better to go for 2 cds.)

But my movie is 2 hours 54 minutes long and i prefer quality over size, so i want to go for 3 cd's.
